Los Angeles native Kate Adams is a director and photographer.
Photography gravitated to film when she felt the desire to tell a story through her work, to give it heart and convey a message. Now she shoots and directs for global brands.
Being drawn to photography her whole life, she attended the University of Hawaii to pursue conceptual image making and acquired a BFA in New Media.
Kate likes to get personal. Her films immerse you in a subject's world through a mosaic of images and words. As a photographer, her calming energy disarms talent and allows them to beam their true personality in a way that is raw, honest, and pure. Like many great Californian directors before her, she spends her time away from the camera riding horses or on the water.
